    1.8T fmic install

AutoXtrëm FMIC kit no cutting of OEM bumper needed, no pressure drop, and holds boost further in the rpm range, (on chipped 1.8T was 17psi to redline.) we deleted the pancake pipe also. 950$CDN installed

    Looks good. Nice price also.

However... have to call BS on the no pressure drop statement. There has to be some... unless you've just invented the world's most efficient intercooler, or unless the intercooler is empty inside! (I hope it's not the second one)

On a side note, what is the flow capability of that core?

customer drove the car and notice the same 17 psi has before, but there is suppose to be a .2-.5 psi drop wich is minimal. Flows over 350cfm and good for 300hp, excellent for stock or chipped K03 turbo. cools very nicely, doing the in pipe warm out pipe cold test , was a big difference, but no temp reading.

with the deal that we made to use the customers car has a guinea pig, there was not a big option!! We do sell them without unless they want it. And also all the grills do fit so you would not see it anyway.

Thats if you have a stock bumper.

At least you give that option whether you want the print or not

    beware of chinese intercoolers
they tend not to be able to hold as much pressure as quality cores

leaked tested to 30psi bar is plenty, most bigger one are tested at 40psi, bar and plate design, and i have not seen any intercoolers blow up, only the end tanks, even on my old audi 5000 plastic end tank i did not blow them off at 20psi. This I/C is rated at 300hp so i did not expect to use this one, i have bigger ones that would be more suitable for your application. But you already have the parts so it's just info.

haha it's funny that you say this yet whenever someone posts dyno results you are ALWAYS there making negative comments.

all i have ever said to dyno sheet ( the only one i made a comment on was the 16v) was bring it to the track to prove the hp since dynos can be made to give better numbers, thats all. you and will never see things the same way.. why i have no clue guess it's just one of those things.

    i beg to differ
oh BTW how come you were making trailer queen comments before and now on OVD you are looking for someone to trailer your car?
horsepower #'s are good for shop dragging rights, i posted dyno results to show that Autobahn can make serious power, many people claim they are expensive and now you can understand why, their cars make more power than most other shops cars. how does a 1.8 16v make almost 60WHP more than you with similar setup and .2 liters less displacement? every car you build will not end up at the track so PROVING what kind of power your shop can make out of a setup is VERY important.

i ask for a trailer since the car is daily driven but races at 2.5 hours away i would prefer to have a lift home if things would break, when you run fast those things do happen. Customers that comes to us want to run fast not have the nicest biggest dyno sheet to prove what.. Again everyone is different, and dynos give different numbers plain and simple, im glad your 16v made good power, but i will take my 300+whp and run 11s VS a higher hp dyno and run slower but that's just me.
BTW someone from montreal dynoed is car there on a dynojet and then at tapp since it was getting tuned and got a 18% loss with the mustang, so just for kicks @16psi i made 265whp so that would be 312whp@16psi, i run 20psi at the track so over 350whp but all i have to prove is a dyno of 265whp@16psi and a 11.95@123mph.

wow good luck w/ those numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
nice to see you have NO idea what you are talking about
on average mustang dynos read lower than dynojet but not by that much!
i see you could help but mention your 1/4 times AGAIN. what would you do without it. Too bad your second quickest in your area
