    where to do 56k/64k maintenance??

hey guys, I'm just wondering... where do you suggest doing 56k or 64k maintenance?? dealer is a expensive (about $300 for 56k and more than $500!! for 64k)??

supposedly, 64k maintenance involves some heavy engine tuning... but HOW true is that?? and I wonder, if you're chipped, will it be any difference (the 64k maintenance)??

    Thanks,
    ~RD

I don't remember anything major to do at 56k, and I certainly didn't pay $300. The 64k cost me $420 at Oakville VW. $120 of that was in spark plugs alone.

VW Villa quoted abot $250 for 56k and $4xx for 64k... I'd think after the taxes they come out to about $300 and about $500 respectively....

so I guess, it's suggested to go to dealers eh..??

FUCKKKKKKKKKK! you guys serious? I say only do the essentials at the dealership and do everything else away from them. That's just fucking ridiculous.

For example, I got my NGK Platinums at Speedbump and saved bigtime...there's no way that I'm paying $35 per spark plug at the dealership

What does 56K and 64K service entail?

I heard that VW villa were bastards...if you are going to take the car to the dealership, I would go to Cederbrae Vw instead.
