    MK2 Suspension

I am looking to change my complete suspension (hurray for tax refunds) on my 1991 Golf. I am torn between the FK kit from Tire Trends (35mm) or the complete suspension kit from RPI lowering 1 3/4 inches. Anyone have thoughts on these two setups? Money is always a consideration, the FKs are cheaper ($550) but the RPI kit ($700) comes with all the goodies (strut bearings, bumpstops etc) .

I do drive in the far North and am concerned about lowering the car too much. Any input is appreciated!

    What else do I need?

    OK folks

Assuming I get the FK cup kit, for the 91 Golf what else should i pick up in order to do a COMPLETE suspension refurb??? Since I live way up north ( ie no dealer shops) I would rather order a bunch of stuff, then return what I don't use.

    new upper strut bearings?
    bump stops?
    rear upper spring purchase?
    nuts?

    Thanks for all your input

the FK kit has rear coil-over, so new perches shouldn't be necessary.
