VR6 longitudinal transmission adapter 350z or GM

All I thought you would be interested in my build. I'm putting a turbo VR6 engine in my 2005 350z. Shooting for 700-800whp. I also made an adapter for a GM th350/400/T5/T56 transmission too.

    Here is the thread:

Just curious, but wouldnt your stock 3.5L motor be better then a VR6 to make 700-800whp?

From what I know those engines are not the best for making high power numbers.

As for the original poster, awesome project!

The VQ's don't hold up to too much power stock, and the engine bay is pretty cramped. Same reason people swap VR's into S4s.

Vr6 Turbo is much easier, and economical to build and maintain than a twin turbo v6. Good luck with the build!
