    Break squeel

I just changed the front rotors and pads on my 04 Jetta and now they are squeeling, I dont get it, is there some grease points I was supposed to do.

did you get an option of buying "premium" or cheapo parts ? because sometimes really cheap brake pads can contain a lot of metal in the pad itself thus the name "semi-metallic" pads and you will get a squeal, i've also seen pads squeal for a bit for a couple days until they get a little wear on then and actually seat to the new rotors
Well, excuse me, for having ENORMOUS flaws, that i don't work on !

Thread moved to the brake section...

What conditions are they squeeling? Very light braking, no braking, heavier braking?
Light travels faster than sound, so people may appear to be bright until you hear them speak...

It happens when I start to brake, if it starts howling I let off and brake again and it goes away. I forgot to mention that I had to free up the parking break on one side somaybe the other side isnt as free.

Thanks for moving it, it was only after I posted that I realized it was in the wrong spot.
