    SUSPENSION Knocking Noise.. please help..

okay, so i was doing some maintenance stuff today and yesterday.

i replaced my worn out upper strut mounts and bearings... it was rattling a little before i did this..
so after i replaced them i took it for a drive and it is now worse.. its really loud

this is the driver side strut tower

this is the passenger side strut tower

EDIT: this was the gap before i replaced the Strut Mounts/bearings, its now lower and looks normal. But sound still continues

wth is going on? it sounds like a lound knocking noise (like 2 pieces of metal hitting each other..)

I am on racelands and this is the steps i put it back in (B):
shock, then spring hat, then bearing, then bushing, then nut, then top hat with rubber, then nut.
    that's correct right?
    i followed this:

    -----------
it seems as soon as i took it out of storage, (stored from November to March) that i am getting this knocking noise.. the backs are noisy too, but i think its just my worn out Coil Spring Isolators

    anyone help me out?
what is it more likely to be?
    - Control Arm Bushings
    - Ball Joints
    - Sway Bar Bushing
    - Sway Bar Bracket
    - Tie Rod Ends

what should i start with? to try and eliminate my problem.
also, what bolts should i check to see if they are loose?
    ---
i am going to call Foreign tomorrow and see if i can get booked in for someone to take it for a drive and try and diagnose the sound.

THANKS FOR THE HELP! MUCH APPRECIATED

I have some knocking noise on my 2.0L. Going over bumps and turning... and it's the sway bar bushings.

Besides calipers to measure them? You'll need to know which packages came with which bars.

It doesn't hurt, but it's also not really needed. You'd be better off investing the money in thicker, aftermarket sway bars (H&R or whatever)
