    Will>> 195/65/r14 rubber work on a 1998 Jetta?

GOt them on and mounted now with no rubbing but when I feel the back of the wheel.. by the spring/shock there is only about a finger widths space. Is that going to be a problem at higher speeds or with more snow?

Seems everyone is running 195/60/r14 or 185/65/r14 on there mk3's as snows .....anyone ran 195 /65/r14 as winters on a 1998 mk3 jetta?

Are the 195 /65/r14 going to be a problem? or cause a flat>

Grateful for any words on this matter

    Cheers

Simple answer, if you can fit your finger in there, its good. You will have no issues.

If a 195/60/14 doesn't rub on the strut, a 195/65/14 won't either, they're the same width one is just taller. The overall diameter is going to be slightly taller than stock and the speedo will be off a tiny bit, but it won't harm anything at all.
