    German Auto Parts

Big ups to German Auto Parts. Ordered some new trunk struts for the TT, defective parts showed up so I rang up Dave and he was extremely helpful. Sent me a new set that day and fully refunded any extra shipping costs I had to pay for returning the defective set. I realize that this SHOULD be standard practice, but we all know most companies aren't there to help the customer.

It's the number one reason why I'll continue to bring my business there for OEM parts. Plus the parts are usually 40% cheaper.

ie: struts - from dealer - $150 all in - from GAP $115 shipped including duties. Shipping usually takes 3 days too.

I picked up a Brand new Bosch/VW 120 amp MkIV alternator at Waterfest for $250. Dealerships were asking $500+ for a rebuilt!
I saved duties and taxes buying on site.
    for GAP from me.

I wonder if this would still be applicable these days.
