    Waterfest 16 Cruise from Toronto

Waterfest Departure Time / Location 2010

Seems I forgot to post this information this year.

Well... here we are again. It has come time once again for the annual GenerationDUB.com Cruise to Waterfest in New Jersey. For those who have been before you know this is an event not to be missed. For those who have never been you dont want to miss out again.

    Waterfest
is held over 2 days ( July 17 - 18 ) with the Official GenDUB cruise taking place the day before on Friday July 16th. The official Launch will once again take place at JRP in Mississauga and will follow a route designed in house.

Food and fuel stops have been worked into the route so there should be no worry of finding gas along the way. We always account for gas-guzzlers.

Maps of the route will be handed out to drivers at the meeting point the morning of the cruise.

NOTE: To beat traffic and ensure we arrive at our destination in a timely manner we will be LEAVING at 7:00am.We understand that there are people coming from a distance but to accommodate the full cruise plans we must leave at this time.

GenerationDUB has once again teamed up with Performance Auto and Sound Magazine
for this event. The guys at PASMAG through their numerous contacts have made arrangements for some great giveaways and promotions for those who attend.

Arrangements are being made for a group rate at a great Hotel, and information regarding this will be updated shortly.

GenerationDUB and Performance Auto and Sound would like to invite everyone to join us this year, and wish everyone a SAFE and enjoyable trip. With that said, Law Breakers and trouble makers are not welcome and will not be tolerated. This is a long trip with a lot of cars who's owners have put a lot of time and love into, people who wish to act like idiots driving should find another group to drive with.

Please also remember that you are crossing an international border and are subject to any questioning/search that goes along with it.

Feel free to ask any questions, we will do our best to answer them for you.

The cruise typically takes between 6 and 8 hours depending on traffic, construction and border times.

We make one stop after the border for approximately 30 minutes to enter wal-mart and pick up anything we need while waiting for everyone to border cross. At which point, we will leave and head for New Jersey.

RETURN HOME: Using the provided map, you should be able to find your way home. There is no "cruise" home - you are on your own. Small groups tend to leave together, but there is no official departure time. Leave when you want, and with whom you want. I have left both Sunday and Monday, the Sunday night drive is a bitch.

Hey , just wanted to give some local info to help save some oilpans and front lips this year - I-190 NORTH (so on your way back into Canada) is under construction, and the road is really rough, particularly on the bridges leading on and off Grand Island, if you're worried about bottoming out you car, I recommend crossing back in at Ft.Erie.

i'd recommend crossing at ft erie anyways, because 99% of the time there's an hour plus wait at queenston-lewiston.

Yes, I totally recommend crossing at Ft.Erie on the way back, the road surface is not only shit, but it slows down and backs way the fuck up - I spent an hour there today.
