Schmidt Phantom Line on Customers MK6 GTi

Just did a set of Schmidt Phantom Lines in 18 inch w/225/40R18 SPT's on a new MK6 GTi so I thought I would share a couple pics to get some opinions being a newer wheel, so lets hear 'em!

(Sorry for poor BBerry phone pic quality! Kooz... I am talking to you lol)

The car is going to be dumped shortly, which will help quite a bit for sure... The gap I think is contributing to the small look...

There's something about white wheels on white cars that I just don't like. Not really feeling them at all.

I'm only browsing on the BB right now, but looks decent. I kinda like white on white. Would hate keeping them clean though. Especially if they use similar pads to what my A3 had.

agreed. Maybe if it was a silver finish and non-chrome lips it would look a bit better.

Actually, if you see them in person, the finish quality is quite exceptional. The paint is excellent and the lips are actually stainless steel and not simply machined. The bberry pics don't give the best detail. I am noticing quite a difference of the impressions from the forums vs real life. Interesting for sure...

if they were set on those wheels, i would've got 19s. They fill the wheel wells better on mk5s.

Agreed. I dont think the look goes well with the styling of the car, especially such a new car. A little on the Ricer/CDN tire side for me.
