    VRT's are fast

I went to the Tuesday night Etobicoke meet and got a ride in a VRT. I cant believe how fast that thing is. Hardly any traction in any gear

According to the numbers it would beat it. But I agree, I would like to see both duke it out at the track.

Well you know what they say, there is always someone faster out there.

The more amazing part is that the motor is stock as well as the mounts. Tranny has clutch/flywheel combo but otherwise stock. Not bad at all.

    .....

you'll find that having stock rod/piston/crank/headbolt combo's are frequently used in vw FI setups.

just ask jeremy about the "cheat'n'Eaton"

There's no way the motor is stock at those numbers, the compression has to be changed and that makes the motor not stock.

Not in a Turbo VR or a BT 1.8T putting over 350whp down.

If that car really is on stock internals, it wont be for very long

The power it makes is impressive but i strongly suggest mounts/tranny (clutch/flywheel/LSD) work. It will most def need axles in the near future as well

Not in a Turbo VR or a BT 1.8T putting over 350whp down.
Not for 350whp.. but the early kenetics VRT kit was practically a bolt on kit, no bottom end work. however a good number of stock vw bottom ends are forged (some may also do the TDI crank swap) are quite robust for a hefty amount of boost.

I'm just saying the bottom ends can hold a fuckwad of boost...
the cheat'n'Eaton did what? 20? 30 psi off idle?

Well the car has a headgasket spacer, but when I say the motor is stock, I mean it has no pistons & rods. I should have specified. Hes running a stage 3 clutch currently. Car runs mint. No CEL's. My vagcom even picked up his C2 Motorsports chip

... the motor is not stock.

Stock means, you haven't opened the motor and put anything inside of it.

Very nice car! But I think the lack of traction would totally ruin the fun of driving it on a day to day basis

Yea traction is a big issue but with that much HP, I think its more about bragging rights.
