    Official winter car thread

It's officially winter here in kitchener. Luckily, I bought my winter tires 3 days ago, before the big dump.
Not everybody has a winter beater, so show your car in winter mode.

    Here's mine in summer:

    And winter:

VERY happy to have this as a winter car. The extra weight on the drive wheels with the VR6 is great.
Oh, and I picked the passat syncro wheels for extra all wheel drive traction.

    v6 ford tempo. not mint.

waiting in the wings a 1990 cadilac eldorado. and its mint. I hate to drive it in the winter if I can avoid it.

    Summer 2005:

    Winter 2005:

No difference between the two modes aside from the winter Kumho's and steelies. I really should take the lip and skirts off instead of snowplowing everything everywhere, but they need to be repainted anyways. </justifying laziness>

Hopefully I'll save enough bucks for a beater next year so I don't have to put my car through the abuse of winter.

I wish my Golf got half as many stares as my winter beater does.
