Looks like good work so far

Are you going to have enough air to move 3 12s in that enclosure?

I've calculated it out to approximately 1 cube foot per sub

thats a bit small for those subs?

My Arc's needed at least 1.3cu.ft and they were 10s

Im guessing you are going for appearance more so then performance?

yup, totally is, hence why i said its for appearance

If it was for performance/SPL, it would be built with 1'' MDF and it would have no back seats because the box would be so big

But, build looks good, pretty good FG skills so far. nothing wrong with going for "show". Been there, done that

Keep us updated OP, I want to see the final product

While the box may be on the small side (although I haven't calculated the exact volume as the box is irregular shaped) because there is 3 12"s any loss in performance will be made up with the extra sub. I'll let you guys know how it sounds

An extra sub won't make it better sounding, it will do the exact opposite, cause there is barely enough volume for 2 subs. Not to mention the frequency loss, as a result of the FG harmonics (FG isn't strong enough for big power, it will vibrate, canceling out the same freq.)

Also a sub in a under sized box can require as much as 100rms per sub to drive the same note, in a proper volume. So with 3 under sized subs you need a extra 300 rms, plus what there rated for. Equals one big amp required, and your gonna run the risk of blowing VC all the time. Not too mention 3 subs don't wire up nice, I doubt your gonna strap together two 1 ohm stabe amps( taking the neg off one amp, and the positive off the other amp, so together your running a .5ohm load between both of them. Or you need one amp/sub.

All things considered , its pretty safe to say that a show car system. You aint gonna will any sound offs

I'm gonna pack the fiber-hair filled bondo from the inside to obtain a 3/4 thickness throughout for structural integrity and rigidity. Here's a progress shot. I'm running a Zapco 750 watt for the subs with a cap.

looks good. Are you painting it or wrapping? This is obviousely not your first time making a FG enclosure, looks to be pretty good work

Should sound pretty good, but like Lava said, wont win any SPLs. Fiber still flexes too much and 750W isnt doing you any favours. Cap is useless for 750W
