Perhaps, I always pulled my decks and went aftermarket which had Ipod/Aux inputs.

What are you using to connect it? Did you get some specialty adapter meant to go from Ipod to a VW Deck? The CD changer or PhatBox Hoooked up in the trunk, but I'm not sure how the other end...

Nope. 5.0L V8 I pretty much baby the truck and drive as slow and smooth as possible to save on fuel.

Ya sounds a little pricey. I would have expected more like the 7-800 range from a private shop. Probably mostly labour, I'm not sure what the access is like on those ones or how easy it is.

You could try calling a tow company or roadside assistance place to come get it off. Other than that I dont know of any other way to get it off.

Again, no personal experience, but have heard good reviews from truck guys, and they get pretty dirty. If I wear out my OEM mats (similar to monster mats) I'll get Weathertech.
