We're starting to build a drivers list for the Cayuga track event signup on the June 30th
We have the track on Sunday from 5:00pm - 9:00pm

A little background -

Cayuga Toronto Motorsports Park. Located in Cayuga, just south of Hamilton, Ontario, this developing Motorsport complex can be configured as two smaller circuits of 1.2 and 1.8 km each or one large 3 km road course. We will use the 3 km circuit. The paved surface is a safe, flat design with good run-off room (no barriers or guardrails) and excellent sight-lines. The course has ample straights, challenging large and small chicanes, tight 90 degree and sweeping high speed turns. A truly good technical course.
It is a great learning track with two long straights, 11 challenging turns, safe run-off everywhere, and a separate area for exercises.
We usually have a briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a few warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. For beginners group, Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the back straight, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls.

The Track is about 1 hour and 15 mins drive from Toronto.

Replaced coil pack with non OEM. Fixed my issues but CEL is illuminated now. No VAG Com available. How do I reset?

I just bought a 71 Super Beetle which needs a lot of work. The first thing is that the brakes are locked. What should I do? Help! I bought a Haynes manual so I can do this myself.

I have done compression tests, and replaced the plugs, wires, injectors and coilpack.

We would like to setup a Mosport DDT lapping event for our drivers and friends.

All Beginners are welcome!

Now, We're starting to build a list for the track day signup on the June 23rd Sunday!

We have the track Sunday June 23rd from 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm booked, cost will be $99 prepaid for each participant.

We will have a short briefing prior to getting out on the track, followed by a 2 or more warm up laps, then lapping for the rest of the day. "Lapping" refers to just that, doing laps. Passing is STRICTLY prohibited except on the straights, and only when the person in front of you has allowed you by signaling you to pass. We reserve all rights to kick people off the track that are driving dangerously and/or aren't listening to track marshalls. We will be offered corner marshalls in this DDT track lapping by Mosport.

This is a full "4.5 hrs" lapping day, no break/lunch in between.

Hello, everyone Im looking for information.
Last fall a customer sold me this 2003 Jetta GLX 24V VR6 5speed auto.
Back in the day the guy was a salesman at VW and ordered this car in 2003.
I was never a VW fan and loved my hondas but being a shop owner I realized I needed VW experience to get better and sole my 93 prelude to get this. (sold due to driveway limitations :) ) So I paid $300 for the whole car.
All new coils, plugs fluids, trans temp sensor, valve body, all energy suspension bushings, remapped ECU, an O2 sensor, a few collapsed vacuum lines, and it runs very well.
And I should note I LOVE THIS CAR!!! Its a rocket compared to the lude. Shifts into 5th at 220km/h!!!

So now its time to "waste money" as my wife calls it, and I would like to know what the compression ratio is, what size injectors it comes with, what brand of header and exhaust for this car, who makes the best fuel control for the VW's.
I watched a video in a VRT thread on here and would love that sound. Im aware that there are very few headers that work on these engines. I have AEM FI/C on my boosted integra and it is reliable as the day is long and easy to use but would like recommendations. Also Where are you guys going for tuning? I don't want some hack working on it.

Light weight pulleys? anyone using these on the VR's? I have had incredible success on Honda's with them but again, not working on Honda's now :)

And if there is anything you guys think I should know please let me know.

PS Im toying with the idea of an electronically controlled supercharger from a Mercedes that I have on a shelf that Im itching to do something with :)

i really need on this...this is my first time owning a vw.....i have a 94 2.8 vr6 golf...the engine is from a 95 jetta.....i have a b&m short shifter in there....but the the whole lever piece (the rod where the knob is on) is out...so i dont know how to connect it, where the cable goes into..what bushings i need, etc....and also before it was off it woulnd go into first, 3rd or 5th...pls help!!!!

I bought a icelink ipod adapter from someone on this board a while back and to this day it hasnt worked. I have spent countless hours and email after email with dension support on this piece of CRAP!!!!!! I would Strongly advise anyone from buying it. At this point I think im going to have to put an aftermarket radio in my car which I didnt realy want to do. My question is can I just wire it up and be good. I have steering wheel controls, I know they wont work but will they still light up. Ive heard of the the plug and play adaptors which are over 100 bucks, I dont want to go that route, if anything I will just get the harness so i wont have to cut the factory one.
All I want to do is play Mp3s or an ipod.

FS Item: BBS RSii wheels with Nankang NS2 tires.

Size: 18x8 wheels with 225/40/18 tires. 5x114.3 wheels but comes with H&R adapters for perfect MK4 fitment. (See pics).

Condition: 9 out 10. Tires are meaty at about 85%. Small but fixable dent on the replaceable outer lip.

Bolt Pattern (if applicable): 5x114.3 but comes with 5x100 H&R adapters to fit on Mk4s. Flush fit.

Location: Windsor, ON but willing to ship N.America or transport within GTA.

Reason for Selling: Bringing car to stock, Buying SUV. Wheels were bought from a GTI owner and never mounted on my car. Been in storage.
